Edge Global Congress
November 6, 2019
As data is generated at ever more exponential rates, and globally moves us towards the age of Yottabyte, so compute processing power disperses across enterprise, and cloud resources...
For this edition of the Clouds Ahead interview series, Datacloud Global spoke to Mikael Berggren, Delta Electronics.
Datacloud: What are some of the key trends and challenges in the current global market?
There is a lot going on around and connected to edge data centers and 5G rollout. There is also changes in buying behaviour from customers that effects the data center market.
Datacloud: How do you think the future landscape of the cloud, edge and 5G technologies will look like?
I do not expect any huge change the coming 5 years, in my opinion no one knows what edge will be like. We will see new technology or applications but no big changes in data center infrastructure.
Datacloud: What regions do you see as primed for IT infrastructure asset expansion?
We see a lot of activity in the Middle East.
Datacloud: What is one of your goals for the next year and how do you expect to achieve it?
Delta Electronics will be viewed as one of the natural speaking partners in EMEA for data center design and delivery. We have a very interesting concept for combining prefabricated and traditional data centers that we successfully delivered in a big scale.
Mikael Berggren, will be at Datacloud Global Congress in Monaco from 4 to 6 June 2019. Meet him and the team on stand 21!
